A graduate of Crosby-Ironton High School and North Dakota State University, I started working at the Brainerd Dispatch on May 10, 1999. My focus is high school sports in the Brainerd lakes area. We cover 12 different high schools and Central Lakes College athletics during the school year. During the offseason, we focus on our local golf, racing and recreation sports scene.

I'm a father of two boys and a cat. When I'm not working, I'm golfing, snowshoeing, gardening, riding bike or talking sports.
