Cass County Sheriff's Office partners with Pine River-Backus School District and others to teach classes. An upcoming class is slated July 7 in Hackensack.
Investigators at the scene identified the area outside where the confrontation occurred, finding the bat, scuff marks, a pool of blood and a small lock blade knife.
According to a release from Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch, at 9:35 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, the Cass County Sheriff's Office received a report of a medical situation at a house in Pike Bay Township near Cass Lake.
