Pequot Lakes Community Theatre will wrap up its production of Christina Calvit’s dramatic adaptation of "Jane Eyre" with three more performances this weekend.

Calvit’s script dramatizes the events of Charlotte Bronte’s 1847 classic story that details the hard life of the titular character as she uncovers a tragic secret while also dealing with painful memories of the past and heartbreaks of the present.

This is director Ben Gordon’s first dramatic effort, with assistance from BriOnna Haag as stage manager and featuring costumes by Sarah Jo Armstrong, set design and construction by Mike Anderson, and tech direction by Trevor Kile. C.J. Anderson supplies the special effects.

This production is produced by special arrangement with Playscripts Inc and made possible by a grant from the Five Wings Art Council.
