This winter’s Pequot Lakes High School musical will be “Grease," the high school version, featuring familiar characters and songs from both the movie musical and the Broadway play.

This show is one of the longest running musicals on Broadway with a huge following.

Auditions for students in grades 7-12 and homeschool equivalent in the district are scheduled from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 11-12, in the Pequot Lakes High School auditorium.

With between 17-20 speaking roles, nine soloists and many ensemble parts, up to 35 students may be cast in the show.

“Grease” will be staged at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15-16, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, in the high school auditorium.

This musical is made possible through a special arrangement with Samuel French.
