Pequot Lakes’ Ethan Johnson and Calia Chaney each brought in the individual win as the Patriot boys and girls finished first over Wadena-Deer Creek and Crosby-Ironton Thursday, Sept. 10, in Crosslake.
Johnson ran a time of 17:32.95 for the win. He was followed by Patriots Jesse Clausen in second, Dawson Ackerman in third, Eli Hall in fourth and Collin Yahn in fifth.
Calia Chaney recorded a 19:33.82 time for the girls individual win. She was followed in third by Carly Chaney, and Rian Zutter in fourth.
The Wadena-Deer Creek girls placed second as a team, being led by Kira Sweeney who placed second as an individual. Johanna Burnsberg placed sixth for the Wolverine girls.
