Take and make sessions offered at Pine River Library

Community education instructor to lead project with library

The Pine River Public Library will host take and make sessions with Mary Jo, a familiar instructor who often holds classes with Pine River-Backus Community Education.

Mary Jo is partnering with the library for monthly art kits, including:

  • March 15-20: Wooden Spoon Puppets.
  • April 19-24: CD animal creations.
  • May 17-22: String Art.

Supplies and instruction will be provided at no charge. Register for kits by calling or emailing the Pine River Public Library at 218-587-4639 or Kits will be limited in number, so preregistration is requested.
This free Legacy program is funded in part or in whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on Nov. 4, 2008, which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota's arts and cultural heritage.
