• Roaring Twenties: 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Pequot Lakes High School, Room K114. Fee: $5 per person.

Join master storyteller and historian Alan Bohme for this presentation set to authentic music from the '20s taped from old shellac 78 rpm records. There will be photos of many celebrities, including athletes, movie stars, gangsters, politicians and others.

The Volstead Act, which enforced Prohibition, was named after a Congressman from Minnesota. Bohme heard many of the stories he'll discuss from the people involved or their children.

• Sushi Class: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Pequot Lakes High School, Room G102. Fee: $40 per person. Register by April 20.
