Crosslake is famous for its St. Patrick's Day celebrations, and while this year it may look a little different with no parade, activities are planned Friday and Saturday, March 12-13.

A weekend of shenanigans throughout the community is planned to help strengthen businesses with an economic boost and celebrate this Irish holiday Crosslake style.

A business and residential decorating contest is underway. With no parade floats to decorate this year, the idea is to paint the town green. Judging will take place Friday afternoon and evening with business and residential trophies to be awarded.

There is no charge to participate.
