A float carrying Miss Pequot Lakes royalty and Santa Claus made its way through Pequot Lakes on Saturday, Dec. 12, as part of this year's Santa's Bobbin' Into Town event.
The crew handed out gift cards and goodies across town as they spread holiday cheer. Participants included Miss Pequot Lakes Sydney Dorion, Princess Hannah Brown, Princess Madi Fulton, escorts Nola Novak and Harper Palmer, Dan Ronning as Santa, Kimberly Ziesemer, of Community Action, and Erik Ziesemer, of Exterior Pro, pulling the float.
The event is sponsored by Community Action of Pequot Lakes.

Nancy Vogt is editor of the Pineandlakes Echo Journal, a weekly newspaper that covers eight communities in the Pequot Lakes-Pine River areas - from Nisswa to Hackensack and Pequot Lakes to Crosslake.
She started as editor of the Lake Country Echo in July 2006, and continued in that role when the Lake Country Echo and the Pine River Journal combined in September 2013 to become the Pineandlakes Echo Journal. She worked for the Brainerd Dispatch from 1992-2006 in various roles.
