The Mark Munson Rock Music Camp-Jam Fundraiser is scheduled from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, at The Green Lantern Bar and Grill near Brainerd.
Rock Camp instructors and students will jam out on stage, raising funds to provide scholarships for students to attend the 2022 Mark Munson Rock Music Camp.
Organizers would like to raise $3,000, all while having people enjoy live music and supporting the arts in the community. For those who are unable to attend but would like to support this music camp program, visit tinyurl.com/dc7rjabs to donate.
The Mark Munson Rock Music Camp, a program of The Crossing Arts Alliance, brings students in grades five through 12 together with area musicians for six days of learning how to perform in a rock band setting. The camp culminates with a final performance with each band performing on stage with professional lighting and sound.
