Legacy Program
A Legacy Program titled "Legends of the Wilderness" featuring re-enactments from the 1800s will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at the Crosslake Community Center, and at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Pine River Library. Admission is free.
Miss Pequot Lakes
The Miss Pequot Lakes Scholarship Pageant featuring nine candidates will be at 7 p.m. Friday, April 20, in the Pequot Lakes High School auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door.
Contestants are Madison Conrad, Kaitlyn Deneau, Desera Engholm, Maggie Harms, Kyan Kitzman, Emmarae Lasart, Necole Lyons, Ashlynn Reynolds and Hailee Swenson.

At the event, contestants will be judged on presences in both casual wear and formal wear, answers to an impromptu question, and a talent each will perform.
Grassroots Concert
Ann Reed will perform in the Grassroots Concerts Series at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Live Well Night Club and Coffee Bar at the Journey Church in Nisswa. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 with listening attention, when accompanied by an adult.
Food shelf donations are welcome.
Farmers, crafters market
An Earth Day indoor farmers and crafters market is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Ideal Town Hall. The event will be hosted by the Ideal Green Market Co-op.
The event will feature activities, and lunch will be available for $6 featuring the use of local ingredients and will include a vegetarian option.
Purses for Partners

Kinship Partners' Purses for Partners event will be Saturday, April 21, in the Grand Ballroom in the Gull Lake Center at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa. Purse viewing and the silent auction will begin at 11:15 a.m. with lunch served at noon.
Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for girls 12 and under. A limited number of tickets will be sold and must be purchased in advance. Go to kinshippartners.org or call 218-829-4606.
Evening in Tuscany
An Evening in Tuscany, a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for Faith in Action for Cass County, will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Union Church Fellowship Hall in Hackensack. A donation will be taken at the door.
Youth fundraiser
A spaghetti dinner fundraiser to benefit a youth summer mission trip will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Grace United Methodist Church in Pequot Lakes.
