Pop-up pantry in Crosslake, figure skating show in Breezy Point, church speaker in Backus on tap

Pop-up pantry

Immaculate Heart Church in Crosslake will be the site of a Second Harvest pop-up food pantry for anyone in need from 3:30-4:30 p.m. or until food is gone Wednesday, April 14. Participants must remain in their vehicles.

Skating show

The Breezy Point Figure Skating Club will host its annual show, "Skate, Hope, Love," at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 16, and 2 p.m., Saturday, April 17, at the Breezy Point Ice Arena. Cost is $5 per person, with children 5 and under free. Due to capacity limits, the club is pre-selling tickets online through https://forms.gle/xw5PDEwVyZ37Qrw48 . Streaming will be available for $5 per household. Information will be emailed to those who sign up for that option.

Church speaker

Pam Tebow, mother of former professional athlete and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, will speak at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at Lakeside Baptist Church in Backus during a spring ladies fellowship. Tickets are free, but are required, and are available from the church office or at the Corner Store in Backus.
