A 45-star U.S. flag was rededicated on July 4 by the Pine River American Legion, 126 years after the United States adopted the 45-star version of the banner with the addition of the state of Utah.

Volunteers with Heritage Group North sewed the flag to an appropriate backing for preservation ahead of the July 4 dedication.
