The city of Pequot Lakes will flush hydrants Thursday, Sept. 17.
This process may cause temporary discoloration of water. To remove this discoloration, turn on several faucets inside or outside your home or business and let the water run until it clears.

Nancy Vogt is editor of the Pineandlakes Echo Journal, a weekly newspaper that covers eight communities in the Pequot Lakes-Pine River areas - from Nisswa to Hackensack and Pequot Lakes to Crosslake.
