Grace United Methodist Church in Pequot Lakes is once again hosting Children's Community Shop Day where kids can come and buy family gifts for $1 a piece.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the church. Children ages 4 to 12 will be able to shop for anyone on their Christmas list. Gifts will be selected and wrapped with the help of assistants.
All gifts are new or gently used items donated by the church community. Popular items have traditionally included jewelry, small tools, hats, toys, games, candles and home décor.
While children are shopping, parents will be provided a place to relax. Masks are requested inside the building.
