Tim Velsvaag, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Velsvaag of Pine River, was the recipient of a trip to Washington, D.C., sponsored by Crow Wing Cooperative Power and Light Co.

A pie social benefit for Leo and Marilyn Walton, whose service station was destroyed by fire March 27, will be held at Pequot Lakes High School on Friday evening, May 5, at 7:30 p.m.
