The Nisswa Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, Oct. 24, at Lutheran Church of the Cross on County Road 13 in Nisswa.
Social hour and check-in will begin at noon. Main Street Ale House will serve lunch for $15 at 12:30 p.m. followed by the business meeting.
JoAnn Weaver, University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener, will present the program entitled, “Special Plants to Enhance Your Holiday Decor." Jill Macnamara serves as coordinator. The greeters will be Carol Alverson and Karen Green.
There will be no general meeting in November or December. Instead, there will be the last Gardener’s Night Out on “Making a Holiday Wreath” presented by Tracey Srock from Morning Glory Flowers on Thursday, Nov. 14, in the Oxcart Room of Main Street Ale in Nisswa. Social hour will be from 6:30-7 p.m. and the program from 7-7:45 p.m. The wreath will have a Christmas theme and will be raffled.
Members will wrap up the year with a holiday party Thursday, Dec. 5. Further details will be announced later.
