The Nisswa Area Historical Society’s executive board and volunteers have been busy making upgrades to the museum building and grounds.

The Nisswa History Center and Museum has been a fixture in downtown Nisswa for more than 30 years, with the Pioneer Village, Historic Depot and Caboose offering something for all ages to enjoy.

This year, the History Center will also include a small gift shop with original items supplied by local artisans. The Majestic Pines Artisan and Crafters Market is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, activities for children will be held on Wednesdays, and special cultural events will take place throughout the summer.

A new opportunity is rental space on the grounds and/or buildings on the grounds. Under the pine trees provides a rustic setting as a backdrop for weddings, graduation photos, small to mid-sized gatherings, graduation parties or family get-togethers.

Admission to the Nisswa History Center and Museum is $3 for adults and $1 for children.
