Musicians take part in piano festival

A total of 150 students participated in the 38th annual Lakes Area Piano Festival on Saturday, March 6

A total of 150 students participated in the 38th annual Lakes Area Piano Festival on Saturday, March 6, at Lutheran Church of the Cross and Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Established by the National Federation of Music Clubs, the Junior Festival program is for students 18 years of age and younger who study one piece from a required list of American composers and one of their own choosing.

Those receiving “superior” ratings were:
