The Nisswa Youth Scholarship Organization encourages youth to serve their community.

To that end, the Miss Nisswa and Little Miss Nisswa contestants participated in a service project called Quilts for Kids. This organization, founded by the Rosemore family, supplies approximately 300 blankets yearly to kids in crisis.

This was a great opportunity for the Miss Nisswa contestants to work with the Little Miss Nisswa girls. Rafferty’s of Nisswa provided pizza for the event.

Miss Nisswa contestants are Carsyn Krassas, Sonja Palmer, Nicole Nix, Brittany Joyce, Mary Moore and Samantha Jackson.

Little Miss Nisswa candidates are Isla Conkins, Olivia Waagmeester, Charlotte Halvorson, Brynn Uhrich, Lucy Smith and Josephine Snook.
