40 years ago, May 14, 1981

Students from Rad Royer’s outdoor conservation class at Pequot Lakes High School begin a roadside beautification project on the east side of State Highway 371. Harris Tweed of Pequot Lakes donated trees to be planted by the class.

30 years ago, May 16, 1991

Lori Hedman is named valedictorian and Deanna Knutson is salutatorian for the Pequot Lakes High School class of 1991.

Lee Gray was honored as Pequot Lakes “Outstanding Layperson in Education.”
