The Pequot Lakes School Board voted to re-elect Barb Uppgaard to another term as chair of the board. Gerry Brine was named vice chair, Eugene Kennedy was named clerk and Pat Tweed was named treasurer.

Five fire departments cooperated in stopping a blaze at Quarterdeck Resort that destroyed the restaurant on location. No one was injured in the fire.

The Pequot Lakes Community Theater is set to perform “Midlife! The Crisis Musical.”
