Cub Scouts Jamie Stiller, Jeff Hoag, Scott Robin and Kirk Benson were among the top finishers at the Pinewood Derby competition between Pequot Lakes Pack 102 and Crosslake Pack 101.

Crosslake Planning and Zoning continues efforts to re-establish an airport in the city.

The Pequot Lakes golf team started the season with a victory over Wadena and Crosby-Ironton.

Rachel Anthony’s body was discovered by four young horseback riders along the Breezy Point/Sibley Township border. She was last seen on Feb. 27 at her job at Ultimate Liquors in downtown Pine River.
