The 2000 census shows Breezy Point’s population increased 126.9% during the 1990s, while Cass and Crow Wing Counties grew overall by around 25%.

Pequot Lakes senior Emily Lueck is chosen as the Brainerd Dispatch Girls’ Basketball Player of the Year.

Because of the annexation of Sibley Township in 2002, Pequot Lakes sees its population increase from 947 to 2,162 in the 2010 census.
