Big Al's Bar and Grill in Emily will host the small town retired music teachers band, Uncle Wheat and Eddie, in concert live from 3:30-7 p.m. Saturday, May 2, in a safe manner in the parking lot.

Customers will be able to pick up food and park their cars six feet apart to listen as long as they like.

The event will accept donations for the Emily Food Shelf as well as personal protective equipment and mask donations for the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.

In part, the event is to drum up support as well for local restaurants who are struggling during social isolation measures.
