The Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore home improvement store reopened its doors Wednesday, May 27, after closing due to coronavirus concerns.

The store’s new hours of operation and safety requirements are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The ReStore will limit the number of shoppers in the store at any given time and not allow anyone under the age of 16 in the store.

All purchases must be picked up at the time of sale and wearing of masks in the store is strongly recommended.

Donation drop-off has resumed but with social distancing protocols, so donors may need to wait in their vehicles to drop items off at the ReStore at 1110 Wright St., Brainerd.

The Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore sells new and used furniture, appliances and building supplies at a fraction of the retail price. All proceeds support Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity’s work building homes for local families.
