The Crosslake Ideal Lions Club had its first 2021 face-to-face meeting recently at Maucieri's, coupled with online Zoom accessibility.

A new event was planned as a replacement for the traditional Easter egg hunt, and it includes a drive-thru option or an egg hunt and maze game. This event will be held outdoors Saturday, April 3, at the Crosslake Ideal Lions picnic shelter and outdoor play area at the community center. Preregistration is required b y calling 763-670-1888 or emailing info@crosslakeideallions.org.

Donations recently were made to the Crosslake/Ideal Scholarship Fund, Bridges of Hope, Crosslake Food Shelf and the Crosslake School trap team.

A new, upcoming activity will be initiating a Diaper Drive (both adult and infant) driven by community donations. They will be collected at drop-off locations that are to be determined. Donations will then be given to local homeless shelters, women's shelters, schools and food shelves. More specific information will be published in early April.

Music in the Park will resume upon state approval as will the annual fishing tournament.
