Jenkins tree lighting event slated Dec. 6

Jenkins will hold its 12th annual tree lighting ceremony starting at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, with the lighting of a bonfire in Veterans Park.

Hot dogs, chips, hot apple cider and dessert will be served from 5-6:30 p.m. along with hayrides and caroling. The tree lighting ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m.
