Nobody rained on the Pequot Lakes Stars & Stripes Days Parade on Sunday, July 4.
Aside from light cloud cover, the event was bright and sunny with warm temperatures. The parade followed a night of fireworks July 3.
People crowded into Pequot Lakes on July 4 for a return of traditional festivities that were canceled in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the parade, longtime events included the fire department's pancake breakfast, a kiddie parade, bed races and craft fair and food vendors.
