A mild December day brought hundreds of people to Pequot Lakes to enjoy the annual Santa's Bobbin' into Town events, run by Community Action of Pequot Lakes.

Events included a bonfire hosted by the Miss Pequot Lakes royalty, free s'mores and hot chocolate, and horse-drawn wagon rides in Trailside Park. The festive Light Up the Night parade preceded a dazzling winter fireworks display.

Winning parade entries were the Pequot Lakes Park Board, first; Pequot Lakes Library, second; and the Amazing Hoopsters, third.

Winners of a holiday decorating contest were Shiloh Assisted Living, first; Celtic Cottage, second; and The Green Porch, third.
