The seventh annual Holiday at the Dam activities scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5, in Crosslake have been canceled. However, admirers are still encouraged to drive into the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Crosslake recreation day use area, walk across the dam and take photos.

Event goers are also invited to collect a signature wood cut 2020 branded ornament. They will be hanging on the tree in the Linda Ulland memorial garden. Organizers thank Jeremy Knippel for branding this year's ornaments.

A free Holly Days Bingo card is available at any of the 24 businesses participating, and everyone is invited to have some fun while Christmas shopping as they support Crosslake's unique retail businesses. Shoppers may even win a $25 gift card.

Crosslake's Light Up the Dam Committee is a 100% volunteer driven initiative to adorn the Pine River dam and Corps of Engineers property with holiday lights. Look for beautiful colored lights on the dam, shelter, pier and trees.

In March, spectators will find a shamrock and in the summer months an American flag adorns the dam. For more information about the Light Up the Dam, or to make a donation, contact president Tim Schalow at nmn@crosslake.net or 218-692-3377.
