The Pine River Lanes ladies bowling team made a most creditable showing in competition with a number of teams at a tournament held at Cuyuna Range Bowling Lanes, at Crosby on March 4-5 and 18.

Doug and Dick Dabill, 9- and 6-year-old sons of M. and Mrs. Don Dabill, west of Pine River, emerged happily from a wintry ordeal experienced late Sunday afternoon and evening, when they were lost in the woods.
