BRAINERD — Two fundraisers are aiming to collect money for the Lakes Area Skatepark Association, a nonprofit working to build a skate park in the Brainerd/Baxter area.

The group teamed up with Dough Bros in Baxter, with the restaurant donating a portion of sales from its new menu item the Bro Pocket to the skatepark association. Any pizza can be turned into a Bro Pocket, which is essentially a beefed up Hot Pocket. This fundraiser runs through Jan. 31.

The Lakes Area Skatepark Association is also selling raffle tickets for the Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza, set for Jan. 29. Raffle tickets benefiting the skate park efforts are available for $10 at Dunmire’s in Brainerd and Cub Foods in Baxter. Prizes include a Castle Trophy Hunter fish house, a 2022 Polaris Ranger side-by-side and a $1,200 Grand View package, among others, with 35 prizes available. A full prize list is available at . The raffle will take place Jan. 29, and winners do not need to be present at the tournament to win.
