Faith in Action for Cass County fundraiser serves more than 250 guests curbside in Hackensack

The 10th annual Evening in Tuscany spaghetti dinner fundraiser to support Faith in Action for Cass County volunteer drivers served more than 250 people Tuesday, April 27, at Union Church Fellowship Hall in Hackensack.

FIA volunteer chefs Mike Bohanon, Doug Wardell, Don Hoppe and Jeannie Blomme, along with board members, volunteers and staff served the meal of spaghetti with garlic rounds and dessert.

Waiting curbside provided time to talk about volunteer drivers and the services Faith in Action volunteers offer in their communities.

“We made extra food this year and we didn’t run out,” FIA Executive Director Theresa Eclov said in a news release. “Some folks requested extra to take home for another day.”
