The Nisswa Kids Touch a Truck returned Saturday, May 22, allowing families the opportunity to bring their children to interact with emergency service vehicles and heavy equipment gathered at the Nisswa Fire Hall ahead of the fire department's second annual barbecue contest.

Barbecue contest winners were: B&B Nelson BBQ, first; Carnivorous Jim BBQ, second; and Bailey Acres, third and People's Choice winner.

Donations to eat ribs went to the Nisswa Fire Department and The Outreach Program of Brainerd Lakes.
