Ghostly journey

Paranormal investigator Chad Lewis will give Kitchigami Regional Library patrons a virtual presentation at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, that will take the audience on a ghostly journey to some of the most haunted places in Minnesota, complete with photos, eyewitness accounts, case history, ghost lore and directions.

To register, sign up at www.krls.org or on the KRLS Legacy Programs Facebook page, or call a local library. Organizers will use your email address to send the information to connect to the event. You do not need to use a computer; a smartphone or tablet will also work.

Writers workshop

At 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, award-winning author Alison McGhee will host the virtual writers’ workshop Memoir in Moments, a three-hour workshop for anyone interested in writing about their own life stories. This class is designed for people of any writing ability or experience.
