More than 500 jumpers braved the icy waters of Pelican Lake on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, as a part of the annual Polar Bear Plunge at Breezy Point Resort.

The weather was nice for the dozens of spectators Saturday afternoon. For the jumpers, the water was still frigid.

The jumpers, who were often in costume, would not shy away from theatrics prior to jumping. Once they did, however, they were quick to get back to the warming tent.

Jumpers ranged from 4 to 74 years old.
