The Crow Wing Paddlers club hopes to have the biggest event of its year Friday, July 27, when participants paddle from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Campground for two miles to Moonlite Bay Family Restaurant and Bar for a light supper and beverages.

Paddlers will start at 6 p.m. and return by the light of the full moon with the trip anticipated to end at 11 p.m.

Paddlers can bring anything non-motorized, but must be at least 18 or under adult supervision. Each paddler must have a bright light and properly fitted personal flotation device. Cost is $25 per person (fee covers the cost of food and drink).

Paddlers must register and pay by July 15. Proceeds will go toward the new Crosslake School building.
