Visitors will have the opportunity to observe soap making, wood carving, spinning, painting and more. This year’s featured attraction will be expert blacksmith Mike Hoffmann, of Clear Lake, who will demonstrate his skill in the blacksmith shop.
In the Learning Livery, Ollie Skurdahl will educate visitors about early logging in the area with his exhibits, photos and stories.
The Historic Log Village features 10 buildings that will be open for tours led by guides in period costumes. These authentic log buildings were moved to the site, restored and furnished with exhibits to depict the industries and daily life of early Crosslake.
This event is sponsored by the Crosslake Area Historical Society.
