April will be an active month for the Crosslake Ideal Lions as they resume face-to-face meetings and hosting traditional events.

In April, the primary meeting is the annual Roadside Clean-up at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 24. Volunteers will meet at Reeds Market to receive clean-up assignments. Vests and bags will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves. Following the clean-up, Crosslake Ideal Lions will be sponsoring a lunch at Zorbaz to all volunteers.

Information regarding our next event in April, the “Diaper Dash,” will be forthcoming. Diapers (both children and adults) will be distributed to local homeless shelters, women’s shelters and food shelves. The deadline is Friday, April 30.

New members are being recruited to share new thoughts and new energy in serving our community. Those interested are encouraged to contact Barbara Hansen at blhansen68@gmail.com.
