The Crosslake Ideal Lions Club hosted a new member induction Wednesday, June 9, for more than 20 members who joined the club in the last two years.
Inductions were not allowed last year because of COVID-19. Club members who were unable to attend will be invited to the next induction meeting in October.
Also June 9, there was a potluck dinner and raffles. Seven club members received awards for their dedication and service years.
Upcoming summer activities include Music in the Park every Saturday starting June 26 at Town Square. A monthly flea market is occurring at Town Square.
Peach sales will be at Moonlite Bay at the end of August, when the Colorado grower determines they are perfectly ripe. Watch for flyers posted at Crosslake and Ideal Township businesses. The cost will remain the same as last year for peaches.
