Children get lesson in community policing

Area families learned a bit more about their local police department Wednesday, Oct. 20, when the Nisswa Police Department hosted an open house.

Those who attended met Shuri, the department's future K9, as well as the police chief and officers. They toured the department and were treated to hot dogs and chips.
