The Breezy Point Area Women’s Club is planning its meeting agenda for the 2021 season, after the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020.
The first official meeting will be a welcome back party from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at Antler’s Pavilion. Check in will start at 3:45 p.m.
Cost is $25, which includes appetizers and drinks. A cash bar will be available for alcoholic beverages. Antler’s is located at 7891 County Road 11, Breezy Point. Members are reminded to bring their $20 dues.
The women's club sponsors several fundraisers throughout the year, including a bake sale at the Breezy Point Air Show in May, the style show at Breezy Point Resort in September, and a silent auction at the Christmas party. Proceeds go to Fun Books for Kids, the library summer reading program, several Central Lakes College student scholarships, and other groups.
The club also gathers purses to contribute to the women’s shelter.
