Backus Lions offer thanks for pancake breakfast

Annual fly-in breakfast raises funds for emergency services.

The Backus Lions Club extended a thank you to all who attended and sponsored the annual fly-in pancake breakfast July 25 at the Backus Municipal Airport.

The proceeds go to the Backus Fire Department and Backus First Responders for equipment and training.

The Lions are the largest nongovernmental service organization in the world, with more than 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries and regions. All proceeds from fundraisers go back into communities and Lions projects.
