The Backus American Legion Auxiliary will give away free plants to mothers attending the auxiliary's monthly fundraiser breakfast on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 9.
Breakfast will include fried or scrambled eggs, pancakes or French toast, sausage and bacon, juice, water and coffee for $8 a plate, or $4 for children under 7. Serving will be from 7:30-11:30 a.m. at the clubrooms.
Proceeds go to community, education and veterans programs, active duty military holiday gifts and other auxiliary projects.
