The list goes on and on as summer events get underway. Planning is in full swing for many events that were canceled last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The Nisswa Chamber is so excited to have our events planned and we are ready to celebrate,” Pam Dorion, chamber president, said via email. “It was hard to see the town without all the smiles from happy tourists and locals out and about.”

Crosslake Chamber Director Cindy Myogeto said via email: “Spring refers to a season, but also to ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation and renewal, all words which perfectly describe Crosslake this spring more than ever before.

“Following a long 13-month stretch of shutdowns, restrictions and angst, we are excited to see and welcome more and more visitors, campers, resort and cabin dwellers and new residents to Crosslake and our surrounding communities,” she said.

A full slate of summer events awaits, and businesses’ doors are open.

“Our businesses are giddy with optimism, ready to serve and stocked for a great summer season, and we are all excited to see the events calendar overflowing with established and new events and activities taking place city-wide,” Myogeto said.
