Crow Wing Power’s charitable giving program, Operation Round Up, will meet Jan. 28 for the first quarterly meeting. The deadline for applications is Sunday, Jan. 10.
In general, grants are given to individual organizations that help the human health and well-being of communities within the three-county area that Crow Wing Power serves.
The January meeting is particularly important for area food shelves, in that they can receive matching funds in March from Second Harvest Food Supply.
For a list of previous donations or to apply, go to cwpower.com and click on "Resources," then "Operation Round Up."
Since the program’s inception in 1996, Operation Round Up has donated more than $3.9 million to area organizations.
