While many communities canceled or changed their annual Memorial Day ceremonies due to COVID-19 concerns, the Pine River American Legion chose to go forward with its three ceremonies at the Pine River Dam, Pine Ridge Cemetery and Swanburg Cemetery, though services were more brief than usual.
Pine River American Legion Memorial bar top is finally finished and installed, on Dec. 3 the legion dedicated the Fraser Nelson American Legion Post 613 Veteran Memorial Bar Top.
