The Premier Builder of the Year award goes to the builders who achieved strong ratings in sales volume, market share, marketing and customer satisfaction. The Voice of the Customer Award is based on customers' positive feedback about their building experience.
Oaks scored a 100 percent approval rating among his customers in 2014. By contrast, the national average for customer approval rating among home builders is 83 percent as reported by JD Power and Associates.
Oaks and his wife, Jenny, accepted the Excellence in Marketing Award for innovative ways to celebrate important milestones with homebuyers at ground breaking ceremonies and even having a live band at a housewarming party.
