Madden's on Gull Lake announces renovations
Madden's on Gull Lake will undergo renovations to its resort property throughout the winter that include updates to the lake house, pool deck and dining amenities. Construction is set to be complete this spring.
"Our focus for this year's renovations is not only to provide an up-to-date, stylish and fresh look to many of our accommodations and guest spaces but also to our dining facilities," said Abbey Pieper, chief of sales and marketing at Madden's on Gull Lake.
The lakehouse, located on the east shoreline of the resort's 1,000-plus-acre property, will include seven bedrooms, a full kitchen complete with granite countertops, a large gathering area with sectional sofa and large screen TV, large dining table, a large deck that includes a grill, a private bonfire and a dock. The house has visibility of both Steamboat Bay and Pine Beach East golf course.
At the Madden Inn & Golf Club, the pool deck will be fully resurfaced. Over 3,000 square feet of surface will be replaced with Minneapolis-based Life Floor. Created as an alternative to concrete and other conventional materials, the American-made product is a foam-rubber flooring system engineered for safety. The renovation will provide a soft, durable and anti-microbial surface that's safe and comfortable for guests.
Additionally, both The Restaurant at Madden Inn and The Dining Room at Madden Lodge will get complete rebrands with new concepts and menus, including a partnership with The Fish Guys and Meats by Linz. The restaurants will receive interior remodels.
Furthermore, outdoor lakeside dining will be offered to the public.
